Nearly 1/3 of annual giving occurs in December.

12% of all giving happens in the last three days of the year. 

Use this opportunity to create a special end of the year fundraising campaign with a clear, obtainable and defined goal.

It could be a campaign with a specific or unique purpose or a campaign to simply ‘close the funding gap.’

Once you've created your fundraising campaign, make sure you promote it. We’ve found the methods below help drive supporters and donors to your fundraiser:

  • Share on social media with a short explanation and link to your campaign.
  • Email friends and supporters with a link to your campaign.
  • Include a link to your campaign on your email signature.
  • Contact local and regional news outlets, publications and influencers and ask them to promote your campaign.
  • Print signs with your campaign's link and QR code. Post them in highly visible locations.
